Here are some shots of a wedding I had the honor and pleasure of helping to make beautiful and memorable. Both the ceremony and reception were held at Big City Bistro in Fort Walton Beach.
When the box of Mokara orchids from Thailand arrived, I knew that the bunches of red would make the ceremony spectacular. The entire ceremony focused on the simple bamboo arch strung with clear teardrop chandelier crystals that were adorned by these orchids. Brown chairs and the brown aisle runner were also chosen to give focus to the orchids and crystals. Furthermore, a nine foot tall sheer backdrop added privacy and caught the dappled sunlight streaming through the large oak trees that sheltered the ceremony site. The overall effect was serene and simple.
The bridal flowers included the red mokara orchids with the addition of black baccara roses, golden creamy colored roses, schwartzwalder calla lilies, brown fern curls, viburnum & hypericum berries and fantastic bronze cymbidium orchids. The color combination and styling was contemporary & natural and also made a gesture to Fall.
